Portfolio Analyzer Views

I have created a Portfolio Anaylzer View. When I access this view through
the resource tab Analyze Resources in Portfolio Analyzer, the view displays
but there is no information corresponding to it. Can someone help me figure
out how to do this?

Have you saved projects in the Project Server database, and if so, have you
actually published these projects? Has the OLAP cube rebuilt since
publishing these projects? Do you actually have enterprise resources in the
Enterprise Resource Pool? Any of the above could cause the resource list to
be blank in a Portfolio Analyzer view.

Beyond these questions, how did you build the Portfolio Analzyer view? What
fields are in the following drop areas:

Filter fields
Row fields
Column fields
Total fields

Let us know and we'll try to assist you.

Hi Dale,

Thanks for your quick response. In answer to your questions:

I have created and published two project in the Project Server database (I
can see the projects in the project list, the resources can update their
tasks, etc.).

The OLAP cube was built after the Projects were published.

Their are three resources in the enterprise resource pool two of which have
tasks in the project that were published (I can see these resources under the
View enterprise resources in Resource Center tab).

My Portfolio Analyzer view is built by the following information:

Filter fields - None.
Row fields- Resources (the drop down box does list the resources I want).
Column fields - Work and Cost.
Total fields - Work and Cost (I am not sure about this it shows a Grand
Total underneath the column fields.

That's all that I have right now.

Thanks,

S Williams
