Portfolio Dashboard

I want to create a home page for Portfolio that would typically list
programmes that were at red/amber status; Portfolio level amber/red issues;
latest status reports from programmes at red/amber status etc. I am assuming
that I would need to customise the standard status report functionality so
that the report author can assign a RAG status to the report and then all teh
other info comes together in some kind of web-part configuration? I would
then want to be able to drill down into the underlying programme and project
data eg to get to the project reports or issues/risks. Is any of this
possible?

Steve: I have used WSS to build a custom work space for programmes. I would
use webs parts like the PWA webs parts to display custom views of only the
projects in that programme. I would also may include OLAP cube views of
data and or SRS reports. Now in 2007 risks and issues are included in the
OLAP you should be able to build olap views of that data as well.

Over all you can build very good dashboards for a programme using these.
