Portfolio Server 2007 - Project Server Gateway

I have implemented MOPPS 2007 with Project Server 2007. Everything was
working fine, but suddenly the Refresh Projects feature of the Project Server
Gateway stopped working. The refresh process runs with no errors, but the
data is not refreshed.

This started happening after the KB966308 infrastructure update was applied
to Project Server, but I'm not sure there is a connection.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any tips on troubleshooting the issue?

I discovered that if the projected completion date for a project in Project
Server extends beyond the Planned Completion data stored in Portfolio Server,
the Project Server Gateway Refresh process will not work!! This means that
as soon as a project falls behind schedule the refresh will stop working.
Seems a bit unrealistic to me.

In addition, there is no easy way to change the Planned Completion date in
Portfolio Server. You have to revert the work flow out of Manage back into
Plan before the date can be revised.

Hopefully someone will be looking at ways to make this whole process a bit
more robust and easier to use.

This is been a big head-ache Bob. In addition, the product should be capable
of using multiple baseline values!!
