I am evaluating PPS and PS 2007 and following the deployment guide for both
products to install onto a single server (Scenario 4 in the PPS Deployment
Guide).
Both products were obtained from MSDN with their product keys.
I have successfully installs PS 2007 and now trying to install PPS 2007.
It installed properly but when I try to access it it asks for credentials.
According to the PPS Deployment Guide I should give it the account used
to install, but it doesn't work. So I turned on Anonymous access on the IIS
web application but then it gives me an error "Trial version expired or
invalid
product key".
Is this a problem with my MSDN product key for PPS? I have installed
PPS by itself on another machine in a previous attempt at evaluation.
Or is the problem because of the anonymous access? I have not been
able to create the Admin user per the Deployment Guide yet, so any
suggestion on how to deal with the authentication problem is appreciated.
