Portfolio Server ?

Hey experts,

I am looking to migrate our organizations Portfolio Management Toolset from
Prosight Portfolios to Portfolio Server and have a few questions regarding
the matter.

1. Can Portfolio Server do a bulk import of data from another system? If so
has the data mapping been documented to me to get an export from Prosight
into a properly formatted csv file?

2. Are all reporting objects created via SQL Reporting Services?
3. Can Portfolio Server convert reports to PowerPoint?

Hi projectserverdragon,

We are currently in the process replacing Prosight with Portfolio Server at
one of our customer as well. We decided to manually create the proejcts since
the datamodel between the 2 systems have been different. Having said this you
can certainly use the import wizard from Portfolio Server to do a bulk
import.

The answer to your second question is yes. Reports created from Portfoio
server are SQL Reporting Services Reports.

The answer to your 3rd question is no, but you can export graph ( e.g. into
Excel) and move them into PowerPoint, but Portfolio Server does not export
reports nativally into Power Point
