I have encountered a problem that many of you have also had. I have 2
sections to a word document (one portrait, one landscape) and when
trying to save as a PDF, it saves as 2 different documents. I have
resorted to using PDFLab, or CombinePDFs (both freeware that can be
found on versiontracker.com) to merge the two PDFs created by word
(actually created by the OS X operating system). The problem I am
having is that I cant format the pdf even in these freeware programs
to view and print properly. I have a PDF that displays a portrait and
a landscape page on the screen, but prints in all Portrait (this cuts
off the sides of the landscape page when printing). I have also
encountered a PDF where the whole document is portrait, with the
landscape page running vertically. This prints correctly, but cannot
be viewed on the screen because the landscape is a pain to read
vertically. Does anyone know how to format a pdf so the landscape and
portrait can both be viewed on the screen in their proper format and
print accordingly?
Thanks to anyone who can help me out.
