Portuguese dictionary/grammar checker for Word v.X

I have seen a Portuguese dictionary online for download for Office XP,
but I haven't seen or heard of one for Mac OS X. Will the windows one
work? I checked the Value Pack that came with my Installation CDs,
but I can't find any other languages.

Any ideas about where I could find one?

You simply can't (as far as I know :-\ ). I wonder whether you could use
the Windows version. You can also ask the company that makes the
dictionnary you found whether they'd distribute a Mac version.

Hi Andrew,

For yearsI have used an excellent Spanish-English dictionary application.
It's not hooked up with one of the programs. It's stand alone, perhaps not
what you have in mind. I saw one of their ads recently and I think they've
added Portuguese. The name of the company is Exceller and their website is
www.exceller.com.

If you find a dictionary/grammar in Spanish in your search I'd be very
interested to know about it. I use OS 9.2.2.
