Portuguese Handwriting Recognizer

I'm not sure this will help, but a Portuguese Handwriting Recognizer would
certainly be very appreciated by all Portuguese and Brazilian users out there
(as well from all users from Mozambique, Angola, East Timor, S.tome &
Principe and Cabo Verde).

Maybe Microsoft developpers will take a go at this....

Until a recognizer for Portuguese is released from MS, our Special Interest
Dictionary (SPID) can be used to enhance handwriting recognition for
Portuguese. It contains, 18,696 of the most frequently used Portuguese
words. You can test this solution for free by downloading the program
abletRecoDemo from our website in my sig. Portuguese sample words are
available for testing.

you can try Penoffice (multilanguage) from Phatware.
They have a recognizer for portuguese language.
I'm using the dutoh version.
