Position of Message Window & Close of Message Window upon Replyand Forward

I have two questions about using Entourage 2004:

1. When opening a message, the message window always displays at the top
left corner of screen. No matter I moved the window somewhere else; it was
still at top left corner for next message. Is it possible to fix it in a
position?

2. I used to read message with message window instead of preview. The
message window for display is still open after I've finished replying or
forwarding message. Is it possible to close the display window after reply
or forward, like Outlook for Windows?

Charles, my hunch is that his is hard-coded. But I do mirror interest in
your question #1.

I work with two very large monitors as a virtual desktop. That Entourage
insists on placing new/open messages, new/open tasks, new/open address book
contacts, etc. in the very left corner of whatever monitor also shows the
main Entourage window is often VERY annoying, for I find myself constantly
"reaching and moving" them to positions more comfortable for viewing.

Sounds petty, and perhaps it's not a big deal for single monitor users. But
it is a true workflow annoyance for me, and I even had to change my Dock
position because of it. My virtual desktop spans about 36", the resolution
on my main display is 1900x1200, and of course the fact that my eyes aren't
15 anymore doesn't help matters, either.

Many applications "remember" the settings for particular types of windows.
Wherever you last placed them would be the same location that Entourage
placed them thereafter or until changed again.

It would be truly a great thing if Entourage did same.
