Positioning text in a letter for use in a window envelopes

When I write a letter using Word 2002 I type the address at the left side, in
approximately the right place to appear through the envelope window (A4
paper, folded 3 times into DL envelope). However, the positioning is just
that - approximate. I would like to be able to fix the address on the page
so that it is always in the same place (between 55 and 87 mm from the top
edge, and between 20 and 105 mm from the left edge). Then I could always
fold the A4 page in the same way instead of using trial and error each time.

I'm guessing that a template is the answer, with (perhaps?) a text box which
would somehow confine the address text, though I am open to suggestions.

I rarely need mail merge, so something which would allow manual input of
address details is all that's required.

The more I thought about it, the more I realised I had hit on the answer in
my own question. I have created a standard letter heading with a suitably
sized Text Box, placed at absolute distnces from top and left. Add a couple
of tiny marks in L and R margins 10.4 cm from the top to indicate where the
fold should be and the job is done.
Sorry if I've wasted anyone's time with this! Maybe I'll try harder next
time before passing the buck.
