Possible buffer overrun when using tables in Word 2003?

I'm having a consistent issue with Word 2003 whenever I
open or edit a document containing tables. Sometimes
instantaneously, sometimes within minutes of opening the
document, my computer will crash and reboot.

I seem to have an issue with this system in which it
reboots instead of bluescreening, and no .dmp file is
created, but I can duplicate the behavior every time just
by opening and working with a document with tables.

Has anyone else run into this issue? I tried a search on
the KB and found very little.

Probably a corrupt table in the document. You can located it by dividing
the document into half, work with each half to determine which one crashes,
split that half into two and work with each of those bits until you find
which one crashes, etc.
