Possible corruption? Access 97 to 00

MrE

We have a database that we are using for a study. The
original was created in 97. We are still using the 97
version. The back end file resides on shared drive. The
front end is on the users desktops. IF I try and access
the back end I get an error message: "Access has generated
errors and will be shut down immediately." I can still
see the data via the linked tables in the front end. what
I think happened is a user tied to connect via 2000 and
decided to follow the convert database prompt. I know
ther are a few macro and code modules that may have become
corrupt (for lack of a better word). Is there a way to
get into the backend to replace those macros and modules?

Thanks

It was some corrupt data in one of the tables. The only
table that I couldn't import was the culprit. I managed
to pare it down to the corrupt enteries and correct
accordingly. I'm all set know. Thanks for the advice.

My Case:
We're in testing phase of upgrading our DB from A97 to
A2002.

All function in DB is working fine in A97.

When the DB(in A97 format) opened in A2002 or 2000, we
received error "The command or action 'SaveRecord' isn't
available now. 2046". I also tried converting the DB to
A2000 and A2002, the error occurs in both format.

How did you do the upgrade from A97? Did you use the conversion utility or
did you import everything from the 97 db to the 2000 db?
