I have 7 .mdb front end files all connected to the same back end. None of
the front ends will allow me to right click a form and choose Save As.
Error msg is: File not found: 'C:\DOCUME~1\SmithSR\LOCALS~1\Temp\VB32.tmp'
Click OK, second error msg: Name conflicts with existing module, object or
project library.
Don't know when it started with each. Have stepped thru Allen Browne's tips
(and others) for recovering from corruption with no difference. Here is some
info I think may be significant: If I create a new .mdb under the same
workgroup, I can create forms and use the Save As command on each of them
without any trouble. When I import forms from any of the aforementioned
front ends, I can use Save As on them, too, until I close the new database
file and re-open it. Then the ones I created continue to behave, but the
ones I imported will not allow Save As...with same error msg. All front ends
are working and users are happy. It only occurs with forms, not reports or
other objects. Does this sound like corruption? I am looking into how to
rebuild them, but any help would be very appreciated.
