Abacus
I'm running Word 2003 SP2 under XP Pro.
When I save a document and email it to somebody else, they cannot open it.
I do not want my documents to be restricted by permissions. If I give
somebody a file I want them to be able to open it.
When I right-click on the file and look at the properties, I find there is a
Security tab, which includes permissions for myself, the system
administrators group (of which I am a member) and the System group.
I have never knowingly implemented IRM in this computer. The Permissions
icon on the standard toolbar indicates "Permissions (Unrestricted Access)",
and clicking it indicates that IRM has not been installed.
I want any prevent restrictive permissions being attached to my word
documents.
Can anybody help me with this?
TIA
Robert
