Possible missing JPEG .dll question

Up until recently I have been able to open and save MS
Paint files as jpeg files. I got a virus and reloaded MS
Windows 2000. Ever since I reloaded MS 2000, I am unable
to save files as a JPEG file in MS Paint. I can open JPEG
files and edit them, but cannot save them as a JPEG. I
have been able to save .jpeg in MS Paint up until that
point, and have literally hundreds of images that I have
saved as a .jpeg. I was wondering if there is a
missing .dll or an executable files. Does anyone know? I
would appreciate the help.
