possible to create a specifications file programmatically?

Is it possible to create a specification file with VBA, or does it have to be
created as a step in the import/export wizard?

I don't think there's a built-in way to create these, but michka had a
utility that imports/exports the specs between databases so you may be able
to adapt that. It's at:

I don't think that will do it, unfortunately. The utility mentions something
about "web resources that discuss creating these specs yourself" but doesn't
mention what those web resources are. I'll keep an eye out, but for now i
think i'll just have to deal with creating new specs with the import/export
wizard every time the file changes.
