Possible to customize today page & preview pane?

Outlook 2003 rocks, but lacks some customization features imho.

Is it possible at all to customize (ie change layout, colors, fonts) of the
Outlook Today page? I know Outlook comes with 5 styles, but they do not
satisfy my needs. I would like to include personal links & dynamic content
(hosted on my server) on the Today Page.

Same question for the preview pane: The current header looks like it has
been tossed together in less then 5 minutes. I would like to customize the
colors, font, PUT THE DATE OF THE MAIL IN THE HEADER, etc.......


Someone should definately write an add-on which allows us to customize these
features.
