I created a form that is posted to a sharepoint site. The process I'm looking
to do is to have the user post the request form to the Sharepoint site. Then
someone from the receiving group will review the request and assign it a
confirmation/approval number. I set up a rule so that an email gets sent to
the person who's name is in one of the form fields when the confirmation
field changes to "not blank".
Ideally we'd like to have the email sent from a generic email address e.g.
(e-mail address removed), rather than the actual person who enters the
confirmation number.
Is that possible? or is there a better way to do the whole process? (I
wouldn't count on the users setting up email notification in the sharepoint
site.)
Thanks!
