Possible to disable adding resources from company Address Book?

Is it possible to disable the option in Project 2003 to add users from the
company address book, and the menu options to Insert-New Resource-Active
directory and Insert-New Resource-Company Address Book.


We want to force our PMs to only use those users that have been properly
added to MS Project Server both for internal billing reasons and reporting
reasons.

Our security currently prevents account creation on MS Project Server except
by Administrators, and we use Windows Authentication as our login method.

If more info. is needed, please let me know.

I do not know of any default method to disable the Insert - New Resource
functionality in Microsoft Project Professional. Therefore, I would
strongly recommend that you provide training for your PM's and make this a
training and performance issue with them. Hope this helps.
