i made a powerpoint presentation and set all of the slides to change
automatically after 8 seconds. However, when i saved my powerpoint as a
website, the slides wouldnt change automatically and i had to click the mouse
to move on to the next slide. i made the powerpoint on a mac and i'm not
sure if that has anything to do with it. How can i fix this?

Make a PowerPoint presentation as a website is not a good idea.Although
powerpoint does have a feature to sava a presentation as a html file,
some effects and animations can not paly correctly in a html. For a
professional looking website, you should turn to dreamweaver or
anything like it. If you want to play a prsentation automatically in
your existing webpage, you can convert it to flash.
Not sure if you need a conversion software application, but you can go
to here and have a look

Hi yes-to-all or isn't it everything are possible and nothing is uncertain;
look here of Michael Koemer tutorial:
http://www.oldfco.ca/tutorial/pptohtml_files/frame.html

I'm a strong believer that PPT is a good program without investing any
$$$. It can saved and opened ppt, pps, & htm files. All my projects are in
htm format and saved in my websites and in CD. To make it more robust
--- add those FREE and useful Add-in's, Macro's or VBA's, Microsoft
Producer, etc. Google search them.

Make new post for proper installation or guide.
