Dear colleges,

would somebody know, how to solve neverending loging from MS Project Pro
2003 to MS Project Server 2003?
It doesn't function only for some PC's. The same user can make connection
from his notebook, but (at another time) cannot make connection from his PC.
PWA functions from this PC very well.

There is only "neverending" series of POSTs in
WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\W3SVC1\ex*.log:

Is the Project Professional version the same on the two machines? Make sure
it is the same service pack as well. Can other users log in to Project
Professional on the machine that is showing problems? What I mean is, is
this user/machine specific or just machine specific?

Thank you,

Project Professional 2003 version is the same
No service pack at client
This is the test, that I did't done before your notice (special thank you):
I PERSONALLY CAN LOG IN TO PROJECT PROFESSIONAL ON THE MACHINE THAT IS
SHOWING PROBLEMS. Does it mean, there is some problem in user profile? I
think so.
The same user can logon from another machine

Best Regards

Yes, this most likely means that user's profile is corrupted on that
machine. Have an administrator rename their profile and have them log in to
the machine again and try. This will create them a brand new clean profile
and should allow them to log in with no issues on that machine.

check the IE security options for the Intenet zone and confirm that auto
login for user and password is checked.
