My PC was infected over the past few days, though I have
since managed to install the MS W2K O/S patch and clean
the infection using Norton's AV software.
However, I now cannot access any MS Office apps. - both
shortcuts from the Desktop and direct click from the
associated sub-directory produces the following error (for
all MS Office apps.):
"This application must be installed to run. Please run
setup from the location where you originally installed the
application."
Now - the apps. have been/are all still loaded and
initially seem to load as normal - but then the above
error and the app. closes.
??Help!!??
