Postcard mail merge problem-HELP!

Joan

Still having problems... I have done other label creations in mail merge and they WORKED. However, this is different only in that the postcard has other pictures, text boxes, and formating to it, besides the merge fields. There is design work done in the creation of layout for the postcard of information to be sent to recipient. Is there a problem with some kind of a section break or something?

I spotted your earlier messages later - a large whisky before retiring is
not the best way to keep the brain clear :)
It would have helped if you had posted in the same thread.

The procedure for assembling diverse information on labels (including
postcards) is shown in the links I posted. You do not need section breaks.
Avoid the use of text boxes to hold fields.

Thanks, the tip about not using text boxes was what
finally worked. I set the postcard up with a table and
inserted my graphics and text into the cells, along with
the mail merge part being in a separate cell and IT
WORKED! Finally! Had been working on this on and off for
over 3 weeks!
What is a hold field?
