Postcard printing changes

I am having trouble printing postcards in Publisher 2007. In the old version
I was able to print 4-up postcards as one side only quickly and easily. The
number of copies was set up as the number of pages, and it processed the data
once and then printed all the copies. The new version of Publisher determines
the number of copies as the number of postcards (not pages) and seems to
process the data as each card individually - it takes forever to print each
page.

Is there a way to make Publisher process the data once and print multiple
copies of the same page?

Use one of the Avery US Letter postcard setups. They work well. When you are
ready to print, select multiple copies per sheet.

Mary,

Will the Avery templates address the processing time issue? I will often
print several hundred postcards at a pop, and this change significantly
increases the printing time.

I don't know why you are experiencing a long printer wait time. Is your printer
driver current? Do you have gradient objects on your card?
You might look at the spooler options, change how the publication is sent to the
printer.

Some printing issues were addressed in the service pack.
