Posting events to multiple calendars simultaneously

How can I post the same event/appointment to my calendar and to the office
calendar and to any other calendar to which I am authorized without:
using the meeting function
having to go into each calendar and enter the information.

I don't know of any way, unless one can write special code to do that.
