Posting Results to a Webpage

I have a Log of Events recorder for testing bit of equipment, the form that
I use masically mirrors the fault tracking software (which is web based)
that we use. I was wondering whether it would be possible to simply post off
the results from my form to the URL and get the vast majority of the fields
populated? Any ideas?
