Potential conflict between Office 2000 and Office 2003 Group Policies

Hi

I'm hoping that someone out there can help me with this question as it may
save me from creating serious issues for myself.

We currently use Office 2000 on our Windows 2003 Terminal Servers and I am
about to uninstall Office 2000 and install Office 2003. In order to improve
performance with Office 2000 there are a number of settings in place which
are applied via Group Policies (GP) using one of the standard Microsoft .adm
files. This controls various settings like whether spell checking is done
while the user is typing, default security levels for macros and a whole
host of other settings.

My plan is to upgrade one of our Terminal Server to check that it all works
correctly and then to upgrade the second server at a later date, probably
next week. I will need to add some new Office 2003 adm templates into the
Group Policy Object Editor to make sure that certain settings are not
available to users as they will adversely affect the servers performance.
My question is whether or not there will be a conflict between the Office
2000 GP settings and the new Office 2003 GP settings?

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with this.

Regards,

Andrew
