2 Things:
1.I create presentations for our firm. We have about 8 or 9 other machines
that our presenters use for speaking. I upgraded to Office 2007 and all other
machines are 2003 and 2002 Power Point. Dilemna: I found out that Smart
Art(which is very nice) is not compatible in older versions. In saving "back"
it changes the Smart art into a graphic. I used a series of bullet points in
Smart Art to create a list of 3 items with subpoints under each bullet.I then
set animations so that the bullets and sub-bullets appeared seperatly. Saved
it as an 97-03 version and opened on a presenters laptop. The whole page
appears with the entire text box as a graphic and no animation. It doesn't
save each section as a graphic which would be ideal for animations.
2. Additionally, Why doesn't Power Point Viewer 2007 support smart art
animation that is standard with Office 2007. Is it Microsofts way of forcing
everyone to purchase a full release version of Office.
