My PowerPoint XP Add-in didn't work in PowerPoint 2000 !!!
is there any advice about how to insure compatibility while developing

Develop in the oldest version you need to maintain compatibility with, then
test thoroughly in newer versions.

What specifically doesn't work in 2000?
