power point animation to a .avi file format

Camtasia is a joke for video and animation. It is very jerky, fails to
sample at nearly a high enough rate, and makes video and animation within
the powerpoint look terrible as if created by a drunken sailor.

Which version of Camtasia are you using? And what else do you have running
on the computer? Camtasia 5 will record at 15 frames per second. How much
faster do you want to record?

I have version 5. It CREATES 15 fps, but it does not accurately record at
15 fps...it jerks along...with nothing else running on a core 2 duo 2.6 with
2 gigs of RAM. NOTE: I am talking about animations and videos playing
within powerpoint during the recording.

Hmmm... I don't have nearly that strong of a machine but I don't see the
jerkiness with animations.
For videos, I cheat. I don't play the videos in PPT when recording. Instead,
I drop them into Camtasia using the Picture in Picture option.

My apology, there's only one link there that directs you to the ppt to
video
tutorial. I will post the link here so it's not necessary to go through
the
