Power Point Background

I use Power Point 2000. For some reason, when I change the background color
of a slide or even the master, the slide is always green. It shows that I've
selected white, but it still comes out green. Omitting the background all
together doesn't change it either. Can anyone help?

Is there a green-filled rectangle inserted on the slide master?

After I read your post, I saw that there was. I deleted it and that fixed
the issue. Thanks so much for the help. Do you know how it got there?

Interesting question - I was thinking - hmmmm that's that 'graphics card
driver' problem!

but no - just the obvious green rectangle!
