power point planning slides save individually to location where b.

I use power point extensivly for planning different projects and it has
always been a pain to copy a slide and thenmodify it and re insert it to the
"master presentation". It is very time consuming. I propose a quick fix.
Call it Power Point Planning or something to that effect and what would
happen is a master presentation would be set up in one net location and
rather than having to extract a slide (because someone else is using the
master presentation) and then re-insert it, you could open a slide from the
master presentation from your remote location and when complete it would ask
if you would like to update that slide. The brief never gets separated and
you do not have to worry about version control. If it is versions or
back-ups that you may want to reflect on, possibly program a recall feature
for the past version or two. This would allow a person to see both versions
side by side and review changes. without worrying about loosing any previous
work. I think this would be very effective and would save gads of time for
those "planners" in the world who work on teams.

You may want to also post this in the
Powerpoint newsgroup to see what approach
may already be available (link below).
Include your Powerpoint version when posting.
