Power point saving

Can anyone tell me if Power Point saves automatically? When I¹m in a slide
show working, I see the bar come across and look as if it¹s saving...but I
don¹t trust it. If I can set it to save automatically can you tell me how
to?

Thanks,

Peggy

Hi Peggy -

None of the Office Mac programs have an autosave feature. What you are
seeing is a feature that temporarily stores work that hasn't been saved so
it can [hopefully] be recovered in case of a system/software failure.

To make sure that your work is saved to the file you must save manually.

Bob is absolutely right, furthermore, you can set the frequency at which it "Auto Recover" by going to the preferences by clicking ⌘(apple)+,(comma)

Click on the save tab and it will allow you to set the frequency at which it "saves".
