How do you set a Slide Show to advance the slides automatically?

See PPt Help on: Rehearse and set slide timings

You can also select one or more slides then click the Options button at the
left end of the Elements Gallery - Slide Transitions panel to set or change
the timings. Use Slide Show> Set Up Show to use Timings or Manual advance.

I had found the Slide Show>Setup Show>select Manual Advance or Timings if available, but I couldn't find the place to set the timing. I checked every menu on the Tool Bar but missed the Options button at Slide Transitions; it is not obvious at to what it is for in any event. It would be helpful to have all of these things together under Setup Show.

I agree, it can be hard to find the bits you need, and the
help/tooltips could go a long way toward making it easier.

But it wouldn't make sense to put slide timings on the Slide Show
dialog box; that's for settings that affect the entire show, where
slide transitions/timings are per-slide settings.

That said, it might be useful to have the ability to set an overall
timing on the Slide Show dialog, one that can override individual
timings or not at user's option.

All in favor, stick your heads out the window and say "AYE"
