power point slide timing

Hi
Can any one tell me if i can change the slide timing of powerpoint individual slides in a show and if so how??

Hello Marcelle -

There are at least 2 ways:

One is to use Slide Show> Rehearse Timings the other is to display
Transitions in the Elements Gallery then click he Options button at the left
end of the Transitions Gallery. You'll find the Timing setting at the bottom
of the dialog box.

Glad to help - quite frankly it isn't as "discoverable" as I'd prefer to see
it... You shouldn't have to run the slide show *or* apply a Transition in
order to specify timing for a slide.

Hi

This also works in slide sorter view, where you can select which slides
to apply timings.
