Based on my knowledge, I think this is because PPT is mostly used for
Desktop Presentation purpose, commonly we will not show it in Web page,
although we do be able to open the PPT file in IE vie OLE or save the PPT
file as HTML. That is why OWC(Office Web Component) is called.
I agree with Alvin's suggestion. You may automation PPT in .NET or legacy
COM client.
