Power Point Viewer/Reader

I have a friend who has activated the 60 day trial of MS Office (2003) that
came with his computer. Therefore, he has the PowerPoint Viewer which is
part of that. He is not likely to buy the full version of Office since he
has WordPerfect. He said that someone told him that a PowerPoint "Reader"
came built in with his computer. Is there a Reader as different from a
Viewer? And is it likely that one (whichever it is) came with his computer?
He has WinXP.

If he has the trial period, he has PowerPoint until it expires. After that,
it's just a viewer. Not a "reader" but I suspect it's just a matter of
semantics. Nothing to fuss about.

Thanks, JoAnn, you are always so nice and speedy with answers! Do you think
PowerPoint Viewer will stay active in his computer after the Office trial
expires? Or will he have to download it?

Thanks, Carey. So in other words, if his PowerPoint Viewer DOES disappear
when his Office Trial is up, then he can go to this URL and download it
again?
