Power Point Viewer Screws up my presentation.

Hello,

I am trying to deal with the fact that not everyone in the world has Office
2007. I created a presentation that I need a good deal of people to see. I
found the Power Point 2007 viewer.
My second slide has 6 lines of text, each fading in while I narrate. When
the narration is complete for line one, the fade in for line two and the
audio starts.
If I view this in Viewer, all of the audio tracks start at once and the
fades do not happen! This is my last piece of the puzzle before I have to
turn it in to the COO - has anyone seen this?

Hi Ryan

Are the 6 lines SmartArt? If so they will be converted to a picture by the
Viewer and thus will lose the animation and if your audio is set to 'with
previous' they will play at once. At least that's my guess for what's
happening :). Copy the SmartArt -> paste special -> enhanced metafile ->
ungroup until you can ungroup no more -> add your animations and re-arrange
the audio files in the custom animation pane. It can get a bit messy, but I
think it will be the simplest solution.

And yes, the fact it is called the 2007 Viewer is very misleading.
