Power point viewer

New Dell came with powerpoint viewer. Problem. I recieve e-mail with
powerpoint attachments. When clicking to "open" I get an message that the
attched file has no program to open it. Go to "set associations" control
panel and create an association. Thats where I'm falling short on knowhow.
Since the Viewer is installed should't it find the assoc. on it's own? Guess
not. Can anyone help me with steps to create one? or a link with a tutorial.

You must first save the attachment and then open it.

Tried saving , then opening. No good. get the following pop up viewer
message.

usage/extractath extracts the content of the package to thr path
folder/quiet, runs the package in silent mode/?, shows this in help message.

any other suggestions for me.
