Power pointe 2000 cannot open attached file from OE

can somebody help?

I cannot open .ppt files with music. I can hear music or sound, but there is
no presentation.

Is it maybe opening on a second monitor that doesn't exist? I think you may
see a small "slide show" button on the lower right of your screen if that
happens. If not, someone will be along shortly to correct me!

Could it be that your version of PowerPoint is 2000 and the PowerPoint file
your trying to open is from a later version?
