I've recently switched to office 08 for Mac from Office 04. Besides the annoying fact that DBF files are no longer supported in Excel (I work a lot with GIS shape files in DBF form) I'm having a serious issue with powerpoint. I'm a teacher and have all my lectures on powerpoint, complete with images. Whenever I open a slideshow made with powerpoint 04 in the new powerpoint 08 the images are all missing, there is just a large red X in their place. The message tells me they have been corrupted. Is there anything I can do to get my old files to open in the new powerpoint, or should I just go back to office 04?
thanks for any help...
