Powerpoint 11.3.5 problem

Greetings

I have a problem with Powerpoint running on a Mac Mini duo with Leopard
10.5.2. If I hit command-O to open a file, ppt hangs for at least a minute.
Eventually a window comes up in the column view but it doesn't show any
files and it can't be closed. The other odd thing is that this window seems
to have no end. I can scroll it across the screen forever. I have to force
quit ppt.

Anyone ever see this?

Make sure you get Office fully up-to-date... run AutoUpdate from Help> Check
for Updates from any Office program, then run Disk Utility - Repair Disk
Permissions & restart your Mac. If that doesn't help post back.
