PowerPoint 11: AddOLEObject, object doesn't show

I'm using automation to create my PowerPoint presentation. I add a MSGraph
OLE object with data, but when I open the PowerPoint presentation the graph
object doesen't show until it's double-clicked for editing. Why doesn't it
show?
