I have a new Dell that came with Office 2003 basic installed. I need
Powerpoint, and have an older disk for Office 2000 Premium. I want to load
Powerpoint 2000 on this computer, but each time I try, my Outlook goes bye
bye. When I try to click on the start menu icon for outlook, I get the
Internet Options box to come up. If I use the quick launch icon, I get a 2
year old version of my email. So I have removed Powerpoint 2000 and now my
email works. I tried putting the Powerpoint 2000 on an older computer I have
running Office 2002, and it works fine there with no Outlook issues. What is
going on. Is there a fatal conflict between Outlook 2003 and Powerpoint 2000?
