You won't be able to use features from newer versions
in older versions of MS Office Powerpoint.

When I view a powerpoint presentation created in Mac OSX, the fade effect
results in an ugly black dot-matrix transition instead of a clean fade. There
is no fade effect on my version of PowerPoint. How can I view effects from
newer versions on PowerPoint 2000? >>
