PowerPoint 2000 with office 02?

The new XP workstation came with office 2002 products,
but did not contain PowerPoint in the suite. Can
PowerPoint 2000 be installed without causing problems
with the remaining office products?

You should have no problem installing Power Point
standalone onto the computer as long as it is not already
installed
