Powerpoint 2002 avi's

when I insert avi's into a powerpoint presentation the
initial image shows up-when I try to play the animation,
it goes to a white screen and shows nothing in the slide--
-I can sent the PPT file to someone with the avi- and it
runs fine on their systems--likewise someone can send me
a ppt with the samre animation inserted into it back to
me and that works fine as well. Any ideas what's going
on??? This just started happening out of the blue-prior
to this everything worked fine.

Help??

Larry,

Have you installed anything recently or changed any settings on your
computer...prior to this happening?
