PowerPoint 2003/2007 Master compatability

Compatibility issues between 2007 and 2003. The Compatibilty mode does not
seem to function as it does for Word and Excel.

The Slide Masters do not remain in tact when going from version 2007 to 2003
or 2003 to 2007. They also do not seem to function in the same capacity as
they did in 2003.

Headers/Footers (for page numbers, heads, etc.) appear as separate text
boxes in 2007, when changing the text in the Header/Footer area, the change
does not reflect on each slide, they appear as separate text boxes. When
opening the file in 2003, you have to delete each individual text box on
every slide to have the disappear as opposed to clicking off the check box in
the Header/Footer area.

Grayscale function for charts does not work at all in 2007. Charts are now
imported through Excel and when trying to print out in Grayscale, axis and
information on the chart does not show up.

When charts are created in 2003 and opened in 2007 you get a message to
convert or edit existing. Which ever you choose totally changes the colors
and appearance to the charts (for example, if a chart has a clear background
and green bars, it changes to a white background, red bars)
