powerpoint 2003 annimation effects on powerpoint 97 or 2000

hello,

is there a way to ensure that powerpoint 2003 annimation effects will work
on machines that have either ppt97 or ppt 2000 installed? Is there a "ppt
2003 viewer" available?

Do take note though, that new animations in PPT 2003 will not work in 2000
and below. You can check this out for more information:
http://www.echosvoice.com/gotchas.htm#Animation2002vs2000

Alternately, disable the new animations in PowerPoint 2003 will ensure that
they work in PPT 2000 and below. Click Tools > Options > Edit.
Under Disable new features, put a checkmark on "New animations effects".
Click OK.
If you want to add new animation effects, then users with PPT 2000 and below
will not be able to see the animation correctly. They will need to download
PowerPoint viewer 2003.

Two options:

In PPT 2002 and 2003 you can turn off the advanced animations to ensure
backwards compatibility.

You can use the 2003 PPT viewer. (As long as you are not using ANY vba or
controls in the pressie.)
