PowerPoint 2003 Comments Need to be Renumbered

Hi
I have added comments near each section of an org chart in PowerPoint. If I
edit the comment it automatically renumbers it, which I do not want it to do.
How can I change the author/comment number on my edits or get the whole
thing to renumber in order?
